DJs and promoters Greg Hignight and Del Martin established Tune in Tokyo in 2008, on the leading edge of the worldwide popularity of East Asian pop music. Their vision presented the first ongoing nightlife events that focused on Japanese and Korean dance pop, welcoming fans of the growing music movements and creating an environments for DJs, bands and creatives from both sides of the Pacific to connect.
Tune in Tokyo’s residencies have included 2nd Street Jazz, GAMeBoi and Royal/T, in addition to appearances at KCON, the MNET Grammy Party, Pittsburgh’s Tekko, Pacific Media Expo, Friday Flights at the Getty Center, Miku Expo, Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary at JANM, and Japan: Endless Discovery.
